Rushall church

The surrounding Norfolk countryside like the Half Moon itself is not only beautiful but also very historic. The village itself boasts a 16th century church, many renovated oak beamed houses and near by is the 100th Bomb Group war memorial museum. For those keen on horse riding there are local stables within walking distance and horses are a frequent sight in the village.

If you are thinking of visiting the Suffolk coast, Rushall is only 22 miles from the picturesque coastal town of Southwold. With it's 1920's style beach huts, quaint holiday homes and traditional English beach.

Southwold is famous for the Adnams brewery, as a location for recent films like "Iris" starring Oscar winners Kate Winslett, Dame Judy Dench and Jim Broadbent, and is also home to many British celebrities like the media mogul Chris Evans.

If the peace and tranquillity of the Norfolk countryside is too slow for you, the historic City of Norwich is only 17 miles away and offers the normal City nightlife and lots of daytime attractions too.

With two Cathedrals, more churches than any other city and a Castle in the city centre, Norwich is a historians dream. For those interested in the arts Norwich has a brand new state of the art Library, a popular theatre (Norwich Theatre Royal) and many music venue for all taste.

Norwich also has a great shopping centre and was recently voted one of the top ten City shopping centres in the country.
